For class, we had to do a holiday recount. I did a recount about my older brother's birthday.
On the last day of the holidays, it was my brother's birthday, but his actual birthday was on the 2nd-to last day of the holidays.
Firstly we went to pick up Parinaz, Roya, and Nazir in the car. I don’t remember if I came to pick them up. But I’m pretty sure Hakeem went. When they got here Parinaz Roya and I went out to the front yard of the house, and we found a bucket just stuck in a tree and put dirt, sticks, rocks, leaves, rose petals, and some grass in it. We used it as a soup and put it on some random pieces of wood we found at the side of the house near the pond.
Next, we went inside and asked for food, we just got told to wait for nana and grandad to come. Other family members were supposed to come but one of them had to get their tonsils out so they couldn’t really come. We couldn't wait for them because we were so hungry we had to beg for food. We finally did it and they brought out the chip and dip. Hakeem asked us earlier if we wanted mountain dew or coke. Parinaz and I chose mountain dew and Roya chose coke.
Soon after nana and grandad had come. We all sat in the lounge having huge conversations but Roya and Parinaz I was just drawing. Hakeem was being crazy and laying on the floor swinging around a fly swatter saying “fly.. Where are you fly I will kill you.. darn fly..” or something like that.
Soon we went on the trampoline while dad was cooking the barbeque. We played this game where if you stopped the ball from moving then you would lose and we would start over again. We kept being told to be quiet though. Then Roya and Parinaz and I played like only 1 round of badminton and then had to go inside for dinner. After that Hakeem and Parinaz were arm wrestling. Then we had cake. The cake was carrot cake with lemon icing and it had chocolate things that looked like hashtags? Then on the top, there were walnuts and I believe there were also pistachios in the cake?
Then a few minutes later me Parinaz and Roya went outside (it was dark outside). Roya said the clouds looked like anime clouds, then we saw Hakeem singing in a bedroom and knocked on the window to scare him. We played a game where the last one to stop spinning wins. Parinaz or Roya (I don’t remember which one) thought a plane was a UFO. Then Aryan mum and I went and took Parinaz and Roya home.
